Scope of Work

• Repair the existing sorting belt to full functional condition.
• Align, tension, and adjust both belts.
• Perform operational testing, including a minimum two-hour continuous test under normal load conditions, to verify system functionality without malfunctions, vibrations, slippage, or misalignment. A site visit is required prior to work to verify belt dimensions, conveyor condition, and access requirements.

Deliverables

• Fully installed and operational loading belt.
• Fully repaired and functional sorting belt.
• Successful completion of operational testing.
• Clean and restored work area.

Contract & Timeline

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.
• Period of Performance: Work shall not exceed thirty (30) calendar days from the date of contract award. The overall delivery period is from March 27, 2026 to April 27, 2026, with the period of performance extending to May 27, 2026.

Submission & Evaluation

• Submission Method: Quotes must be submitted via email only to Jaren L. Perkins (jaren.l.perkins@usmc.mil). Mailed, faxed, CD/External Media, or hand-carried submissions will not be accepted.
• Evaluation Factors: Technical Capability and Past Performance (combined approximately equal to price), and Price.
  • Technical Approach: Quoters must provide a specific, detailed narrative demonstrating understanding of requirements and how deliverables will be accomplished.
  • Past Performance: Quoters must provide recent (within 3 years), relevant, and quality past performance examples (up to 5) related to manufacturing and repair services.
  • Price: Must be fair, reasonable, and balanced.
• The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award.
