Scope of Work
The contractor will provide non-personal services for the maintenance, inspection, programming, and repair of various life safety systems. This includes fire alarm systems (with Fire Alarm Dispatch Center integration), evacuation systems, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems. Services must adhere to established life safety standards and the minimum standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and supervision, with on-call repairs required as needed.
Contract Details
This will be a hybrid Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Time and Materials Contract Line Items.
- Minimum Value: 300 EUR (1 Job)
- Maximum Value: 3,300,000.00 EUR (10 Jobs)
- Ordering Period: 36 months from contract award, structured into three 12-month periods (May 31, 2026 - May 30, 2029).
- Performance Period: Orders may extend up to 12 months beyond the ordering period.
Key Requirements & Certifications
Bidders must demonstrate capability through qualified personnel and specific certifications.
- Personnel: Program/Contract Manager and Alternate (CVs required), qualified technicians ("befaehigte Person mit Sachkundnachweis"), and a Master Electrician.
- Certifications: Contractor must be certified by VDS and hold valid VDS Certificates for Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Smoke Exhaust, and Fire Extinguishing systems. Annual ISO9001 certification is also required.
- Training: All employees must complete Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I, OPSEC Level I, iWATCH, and Information Assurance (IA) Cyber Awareness Training.
