Statement of Need

To procure aircraft tire carriers for the 22nd LRS to properly ship KC-46 and KC-135 main and nose tires for deployments.

• The contractor shall provide 4 aircraft tire carriers.

• Carriers must be airworthy on KC-46 and KC-135 aircraft.

• Carriers must not exceed the dimensions of a 463L pallet (88"x108") and be no higher than 60".

• Each carrier must store 6 main tires and 2 nose tires for KC-46 and KC-135 aircraft.

• The approximate weight of the tires stored is 1400lbs.

• Carrier dimensions for stored tires: 84 ¼" Length, 51" Wide, 44 5/8" High.
