Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the objectives for the relocation of 10 Kardex Remstar Megamat RS350 vertical Carousel Systems at Misawa Airbase, Japan. The primary goal is to relocate these systems while minimizing system downtime and the need for Government personnel to remove bins.

• The contractor will develop a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) detailing the relocation process.

• This SOW must include, but is not limited to: Description, Basic Project Requirements, Special Project Requirements, Equipment, Quality Control, Environmental Controls, Safety Requirements, Records, Contractor Qualifications, Schedule, Installation Plan, and Assumptions.

• Relocation of 10 Kardex Remstar Megamat RS350 vertical Carousel Systems located in B1334.

• Relocation must be performed in a manner that reduces system downtime and the number of carousel levels and bins removed.

• The contractor will provide temporary free-standing shelving at the new location to store removed bins.

• The contractor will install and connect electrical connections at the new location.

• Testing for full functionality will be conducted by the Government, contractor, and system maintenance contractor upon completion.

• Relocate 10 Kardex Remstar Megamat RS350 vertical Carousel Systems.

• Minimize downtime during relocation.

• Reduce the number of carousel levels and bins removed.

• Provide temporary shelving for removed bins (dimensions: L14 X W4.5 X H4.5).

• Ensure systems are operational upon installation.

• Location: 35 LRS Warehouse, B1334, Misawa Airbase, Japan.

• Anticipated normal hours of operation: MON-FRI 0700-1700, except for Federal holidays.

• Contractor must develop and maintain a quality program.

• If personnel travel from outside Japan, an LOA must be processed per DFARS Clause 252.225-7976.

• The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, equipment, transportation, management, and expertise.

• The management objective is to allow offerors flexibility in managing schedule, performance, risks, and subcontracts.
