The VA requires two types of mobile patient lifts to outfit a new facility:

- Integrated powered drive system.

- Includes emergency stop, manual/electrical lowering, overload protection, and a rechargeable battery system.
Lift, Patient, Mobile, Sit to Stand:
- Electrically powered, mobile, floor-based.
- Designed for partially weight-bearing patients.
- Minimum weight capacity of 450 lbs.
- Features adjustable knee support, non-slip foot platform, and a powered lifting actuator with handheld control.
- Includes safety features and a compact frame for maneuverability.
