Quick Summary
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support has issued a Solicitation for Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (MORE) packets, including "COLD MORE" and "HOT MORE" rations. This Indefinite-Quantity Contract (IQC) aims to provide performance-enhancing and high-carbohydrate foods for Warfighters in extreme operational environments. The solicitation is unrestricted to business size. Proposals are due February 6th, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the provision of two types of MORE packets: Type I (High Altitude/Cold Weather) and Type II (Hot Weather). The scope includes detailed component lists (beverage powders, energy gels, snack items, first strike bars), assembly requirements, and specific packaging, labeling, and marking standards. Quality assurance criteria, including critical, major, and minor defect definitions, sampling procedures, and acceptable quality levels (AQL), are outlined. Specific requirements for Time-Temperature Indicator (TTI) labels and unit load examinations are also detailed. An amendment allows for the substitution of Mocha Energy Gel for Raspberry Energy Gel.
