Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive moving and storage services, including:

Key Requirements
- Storage: Minimum 100,000 sq ft climate-controlled warehouse (68-74 degrees), with all storage requiring 3-level racking. The warehouse must be within a 45-minute drive of the Dallas VAMC. Acceptable proof of access includes a signed lease, ownership documents, or a binding letter of commitment. Shared warehouse space is allowed but must be clearly separated.
- Operations: Provision of an on-site working supervisor, use of an electronic work order management system (contractor provides software), and completion of each work order within one working day. Contractor determines crew sizes (6-12 members) based on daily workload.
- Personnel: Crews must wear uniforms and present a professional appearance, with technical training in assembly/disassembly.
- Security & Responsibility: Standard access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms are required. The contractor is responsible for any damaged, stolen or misplaced product and the cost of disposal for government items. Turnkey installation, assembly/disassembly, receiving, and moving are contractor responsibilities.
- Subcontracting: Subcontractors must own or lease warehouse space, own transportation vehicles, and employ their own staff, and must be used consistently throughout the contract.
