Scope of Work
The CDC requires a consolidated platform to support media relations activities, including:
- Real-time Monitoring & Analysis: Access to comprehensive news and media monitoring, analysis, retroactive analysis, and research. This includes real-time topic trends, analytics data across forums, and social media/influencer information.
- Broadcast & Print Coverage: Ability to monitor broadcast (radio and TV) in all 210 DMAs of the United States, and search online news media globally.
- Conversation Tracking: Accurately monitor and track news and social conversations, identifying their origin, spread, and real-time/historical context.
- Advanced Search & Reporting: Simple keyword and advanced complex topic searches with filtering by geography, sub-keywords, language, and audience segment. The platform must measure CDC's media content impact, provide detailed insights, and allow for customized reports.
- Media Outreach & Engagement: Tools to search for and identify top influencing journalists, create custom media lists (categorized by location, role, outlet, etc.), and measure journalist interest and engagement with CDC press releases.
- Support & Deliverables: Unlimited training, customer support, archiving, foreign language searches, and list building. Deliverables include a base subscription for 1-20 users, additional licenses (21-40 users), print monitoring, broadcast monitoring, and daily curated news briefings (M-F) with human sentiment analysis for at least 15 articles per day.
