Quick Summary
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought announcement for Multi-Ship Sustainment Partnerships (MSSP). This initiative aims to establish long-term maintenance partnerships for routine and repeatable work on U.S. Navy DDG-51 Class ships to enhance responsiveness, improve wartime readiness, and provide industrial base certainty. Responses are due by February 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM local time, Washington D.C.
Scope of Work
NAVSEA plans to divide DDG-51 Class ships into distinct groups (3-6 ships each) for which industry will compete. The awarded contracts will cover continuous maintenance and short-term Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) work (less than 151 days). This includes Emergent Maintenance (EM), Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAV), and Incremental Selected Restricted Availabilities (ISRAs). The primary locations for this work are Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CA.
