This notice is issued by the USACE-Omaha District to determine the interest and capability of small and other-than-small businesses for upcoming procurements related to the construction of munitions storage igloos. This is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Quotation, or Bid, nor does it guarantee a future solicitation.

The project involves the construction of two new Earth Covered Magazine (ECM) munitions storage igloos at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. This includes the demolition of two existing earth-covered igloos (totaling 5145 SF). The new igloos will be approximately 80 feet long x 25 feet wide (2000 SF each) and will be constructed to a Standard Design 421-80-08 REV1. The scope includes site work such as regrading for drainage, concrete access pavement, utility connections, security systems, and temporary fencing. The site is within a munition storage area (MSA) requiring escorts for all construction stages and coordination for access and inspections.

The project involves the demolition of two existing earth-covered munition storage igloos (5145 SF total) and the construction of two new Earth Covered Magazines (ECM) based on a Standard Design 421-80-08 REV1.
