Purpose & Current Status
NASA is seeking to acquire comprehensive fire services to protect personnel, property, and environmental resources. Scope of Work
The NFSC II will provide a full range of fire services, including: Fire Operations and Fire Fighting (technical rescue, hazardous material response, aircraft rescue and firefighting), Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic (Advanced Life Support), Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Prevention Inspection Program, Fire Services Training, and Fire Investigations. Services will be performed 24/7/365 at NASA centers including Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Ames Research Center (ARC), Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), Stennis Space Center (SSC), White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), and Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
