Scope of Work
The requirement is for the procurement of one (1) new 400 Horsepower Motor, or an equal alternative, to replace an existing motor directly coupled to a Peerless 8TU16G2 pump. The motor must meet specific technical specifications, including:
- 400 horsepower, Inverter duty, 1800 RPM, 449TS frame, Horizontal orientation, TEFC enclosure.
- Premium efficiency (1.15 service factor), VPI insulation system, 10:1 speed range.
- 115V AC space heaters, Special balance, RTDs for bearings and windings, Insulated bearing (short end).
- Designed for 3-phase, 60 Hz, 460 volt service. The contractor is responsible for protecting the motor during storage, handling, and delivery, with damaged items to be replaced at the contractor's expense.
