Scope of Work
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) includes sixteen (16) line items for various dental instruments and kits, such as Restorative, Oral Surgery, Endo, Exam, Handpiece, Forceps, High Definition Mirrors, Anesthetic Syringes, Space Maintainers, Loose Instruments, and Pediatric kits. All instruments and cassettes must meet specific Instructions for Use (IFU) parameters for both Gravity Displacement Steam Sterilization and Dynamic-Air-Removal Steam Sterilization, with specific temperature and time requirements. No substitutions are allowed for instrument or cassette type, size, handle diameter, or silicone rail color. Instruments must be pre-packaged in electro-polished stainless steel cassettes with rounded corners and a single locking mechanism. Composite instruments require an aluminum titanium nitride coating, and oral surgery forceps must have a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. While Hu-Friedy part numbers are listed, comparable or equal items are acceptable, provided they meet the same IFU requirements.
