Scope of Work

Welders must be capable of performing multi-pass welding repairs using Mig & Tig processes on small and large naval structures, potentially at depths of six inches or more. All work must adhere to U.S. Naval standards, requiring NAVSEA-approved weld workmanship and nondestructive testing (NDT) certifications. Work will be conducted in a secure, classified government facility, necessitating adherence to NFPC security protocols and a CONFIDENTIAL security clearance for contractors. Each delivery order will involve two welders for two weeks (80 hours) per trip, with a maximum of five trips per contract year. All travel, material, and other direct costs must be included in the FFP for each order.
