Key Requirements & Clarifications
- Headcount: Projected at 170 meals per serving period for March 2026 courses, balancing to approximately 100 meals per serving period from April 2026 onwards. Final headcount adjustments require Contracting Officer approval 24-48 hours prior to the event, with initial counts provided 5 days in advance.
- Meal Times: Breakfast: 0700-0800; Dinner: 1700-1800. Contractor must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to serving time.
- Food Handling: Meals must be delivered in insulated containers, maintaining hot items at >= 135°F and cold items at <= 41°F. Temperature compliance is required at the time of delivery.
- Menu Specifics: Menus will be provided. Protein will always be chicken, plated separately to accommodate dietary restrictions (no pork). Salads are required for all meals. Preferred beverages include fruit punch, Power Ade, or Gatorade (mixing two flavors with water is acceptable). For breakfast, only Powerade, Gatorade, and water are permitted (no juice). If a meal includes ground beef sauce, a basic pasta dish must also be included. Grilled steak is not mandatory.
