- Material: QQ-N-281, CLASS A Form 1, Hot Finished, with quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis.
- Testing: Non-Destructive Tests for weld repair/production welds.
- Thread Inspection: Internal threads must be cut (no cold forming), inspected per FED-STD-H28 series (minimum System 21 of FED-STD-H28/20).
- Welding/Brazing: Must comply with S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278, 0900-LP-001-7000, or S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248. Procedures and qualification data require prior approval.
