Important Clarifications
- Personnel: Third-country nationals are permitted to work onsite if legally authorized. Criminal background checks are not required for personnel if the onsite installation duration is less than 10 days. Thai staff will escort workers; a cleared American escort is not required as the site areas are not Controlled Access Areas (CAA).
- Workstation Electrics: Furniture vendors are responsible for preparing partitions with punched holes for standard duplex and COM/TEL outlets; the government will provide associated cabling and outlets.
- Materials: Offerors are not limited to U.S. origin or designated-country construction materials. Rounded or eased edge profiles for furniture are acceptable. Cool-tone colors (gray, blue, blue-gray) are preferred, but other colors may be acceptable.
- Onsite Work: Expected to be completed within one week under normal circumstances, including delivery, installation, assembly, punch list correction, and final clean-up.
