Project Overview & Scope

The objective is to repair and restore Zone 1 of the Log Cabin Resort Geoflow subsurface drip drainfield to full operational capacity. The system has experienced operational failure due to a pinhole rupture in a 2-inch PVC feed line. Key tasks include:

• Performing diagnostic, flushing, and repair procedures for the Zone 1 drip irrigation system.
• Locating and hand-excavating dripline segment inlet and flush return connections.
• Sequentially flushing each segment to remove sediment and restore flow.
• Conditionally excavating up to 18 dripline loops and replacing up to two dripline segments if flushing is unsuccessful.
• Conducting full Zone 1 system operational testing, including automation verification, valve function, and dosing validation.
• Restoring all disturbed soils, piping, and structures to original elevations. Work must adhere to NPS regulations, environmental protection standards, and specific work hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 p.m., unless otherwise authorized).

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Single Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract.
• Set-Aside: 100% Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction).
• Estimated Value: Less than $25,000.
• Period of Performance (POP): Anticipated May 1, 2026, to June 1, 2026. The awardee must commence work within 10 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 30 days.
• Bonds & Insurance: Bid, performance, and payment bonds are NOT REQUIRED. Liability Insurance is REQUIRED.
• Wage Rates: Bidders must comply with the Department of Labor's prevailing wage rates for Clallam County, Washington (General Decision Number WA20260022).

• Evaluation Factors: Award will be based on Price, Relevant Experience, Past Performance, Washington Contractor State License, and Technical Approach.
