Requirements & Standards

- Marking: Items must be marked in accordance with applicable Military Standards, including MIL-STD-130 for mechanical parts and MIL-STD-1285 for electrical/electronic parts.
- Configuration Control: MIL-STD-973, Paragraph 5.4.8 (Configuration Control, Short Form Procedure) is incorporated. Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Deviations, and Waivers must follow MIL-STD-973.
- Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 applies.
- Drawings: All necessary drawings are available for viewing and download on SAM.gov by searching the solicitation number.
