Scope of Work
The anticipated scope of work, detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW), requires non-personal services to assist NSWCPD in developing and executing engineered solutions for fleet MRG problems. This comprehensive support includes:
- Engineering & Technical Services: Issue resolution, investigations, failure analysis, root cause determination, product improvements, new technology integration, technical documentation, and field support.
- Logistics Support Services: Development and updating of Navy logistics products (APLs, technical manuals, maintenance procedures).
- Product Improvements: Design, development, testing, and deployment of parts, components, or systems, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Fleet and Depot Support: Emergent field technical service support, including on-site investigations and in-service engineering.
- Software Maintenance: Support for RENK MRG control software, including development, configuration, installation, testing, and documentation.
- Program Management: Contract management, budgeting, scheduling, and progress tracking. Work is estimated to be 60% at contractor facilities and 40% aboard ships, involving CONUS and OCONUS travel.
