Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for the procurement and installation of a pallet storage system at McConnell AFB, Kansas, to store 463L seat pallets and Air Transportable Galley Lavatories (ATGLs) / ISU 90s.

• Storage Requirements:

  • Storage for 45 each 463L seat pallets (157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide).
  • Storage for 20 each ATGLs/ ISU 90s (105' long x 7' 10" wide).
  • Shelving tiers must be certified up to 10,000 lbs.

• Shelving Unit Specifications:

  • Seat Pallet Unit: 157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide, 3-tiered. Total height 14' 10". Bays are 6' 2" (bottom) and 6' (second) from ground to crossbeam. Top bay is open. Bay width 10' 5", depth 7' 5". Includes built-in dunnage.
  • ATGL/ISU 90 Unit: 105' long x 7' 10" wide, 2-tiered. Total height 10' 2". Bottom bay is 9' 11" from ground to crossbeam. Top bay is open. Bay width 10' 5", depth 7' 5". Includes built-in dunnage.

• Contractor Responsibilities:

  • Perform site pre-inspection.
  • Access Bldg. 1107 for installation.
  • Install the Pallet Storage System per customer's floor plan.
  • Furnish personnel, material, equipment, and transportation.
  • Maintain a clean job site and dispose of debris.
  • Comply with installation fire and safety regulations.
  • Perform equipment testing upon completion.
  • Ensure personnel have proper identification and passes; conduct NCI background checks for personnel.
  • Do not employ persons identified as a threat or with outstanding warrants.
  • Ensure vehicles have passes and are subject to search.
  • Prohibit the use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS).
  • Unload trailers into the designated facility.

• Equipment must function as prescribed by the operating manual.

• Delivery of all materials within 130 calendar days from award.

• Installation completion within 30 calendar days from final material delivery.

• Installation at Bldg. 1107, McConnell AFB, Kansas.

• Normal business hours: Monday-Friday, 0700-1500 (excluding Federal Holidays and Wing down days).

• Contractor must obtain base identification and vehicle passes for employees.

• Contractor personnel must wear distinctive clothing or badges for identification.

• Customer will provide a 15,000 lbs. Crane/Forklift and a 4,000 lbs. Forklift.

• Customer will coordinate site access and escort procedures after award.

• Customer will provide space for product/material storage until installation is complete.

• All changes will be provided in writing by the 22d Contracting Office.
