To procure and install pallet shelving systems at McConnell AFB, Kansas, to store 463L seat pallets and Air Transportable Galley Lavatories (ATGL).

• Installation of two types of shelving units:

  • Unit 1: 157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide, 3-tiered, capable of holding 45 seat pallets, with each bay supporting approximately 3200 lbs. Includes specific dimensions for bay height, width, depth, and built-in dunnage.
  • Unit 2: 105' long x 7' 10" wide, 2-tiered, capable of holding 20 ATGLs/ISU 90s, with each bay supporting approximately 3200 lbs. Includes specific dimensions for bay height, width, depth, and built-in dunnage.

• Contractor is responsible for site pre-inspection, installation according to floor plan, and furnishing personnel, materials, equipment, and transportation.

• Site maintenance, debris disposal, compliance with fire and safety regulations, and equipment testing are required.

• Contractor personnel require background checks (NCI) and base identification.

• Prohibition of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) in materials and specifications.

• Shelving units must support specified weights (approx. 3200 lbs per bay).

• Equipment must function as prescribed by the operating manual.

• Site must be maintained in a reasonably clean and uncluttered appearance.

  • Comply with installation fire and safety regulations.
  • Perform equipment testing upon completion.
  • Ensure personnel have proper identification and passes; conduct NCI background checks for personnel.
  • Do not employ persons identified as a threat or with outstanding warrants.
  • Ensure vehicles have passes and are subject to search.
  • Prohibit the use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS).
  • Unload trailers into the designated facility.
