Scope of Work
The contractor will deliver and install two types of pallet shelving units within Building 1107 at McConnell AFB:
- Unit 1: A 3-tiered system, 157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide, designed to store 45 each 463L seat pallets. Each bay must support approximately 3200 lbs.
- Unit 2: A 2-tiered system, 105' long x 7' 10" wide, for 20 each Air Transportable Galley Lavatories (ATGLs) / ISU 90s. Each bay must also support approximately 3200 lbs.
Both units require specific dimensions for bay height, width, depth, and include built-in dunnage (forklift entry bars). Contractor responsibilities include site pre-inspection, installation according to provided floor plans, furnishing all personnel, materials, equipment, and transportation. Site maintenance, debris disposal, compliance with fire and safety regulations, and equipment testing are also required. Personnel will need background checks and base identification. The use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) is prohibited. The customer will provide forklifts and material storage space.
