Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To ensure the continued and reliable operation of the GENERAC 175kW Generator at the USDA-ARS Biological Control of Insects Research Laboratory in Columbia, Missouri, supporting the ARS research mission.

• Provide trained technicians for semi-annual inspection and maintenance service visits.

• Perform additional services as necessary for proper operation and diesel fuel top-off.

• Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • 99-Point Inspection & Test (Quarterly)
  • Engine Service (Annually)
  • Cooling System Service (Annually)
  • Load Bank Test (2 Hours Annually)
  • Fuel Sampling (DFQ) (Annually)
  • Battery Changes
  • Load Bank Test (4 Hours once every 5 years)

• All preventative maintenance, inspections, and service must ensure the equipment is safe and operational.

• Services must be compliant with NFPA 110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems.

• Emergency service is required 365 days a year, day or night.
