Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the complete upgrade of premise wiring to Cat-6 standards, including the removal and disposal of existing outdated cabling. Specific tasks include:
- Installation of approximately 24 cable/jacks (12 Duplex) in Building 246 and 12 cable/jacks (3 Duplex, 1 Quad, 2 wall drops) in Building 414.
- Installation of new Cat-6 patch panels, outlet/jacks (PANDUIT MINI COM, orange jacks), and appropriate horizontal/vertical cable management.
- Installation of cable support hardware (trays, J-hooks) and fire-stopping cable penetrations.
- Grounding and bonding of new and existing infrastructure.
- Provision of new Cat-6 patch cords for connections.
- Compliance with current ANSI/TIA telecommunication installation and testing commercial standards and Columbus AFB installation standards. All materials must be new and not refurbished.

Key Requirements & Compliance
