Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is seeking quotations for the Procurement of Fuel Tanks for its MH-60T aircraft. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order. While an unrestricted requirement, competition is effectively limited to NAVSUP WSS approved sources or authorized distributors of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and Meggitt (Rockmart), Inc., due to safety of flight and OEM specification requirements. Quotations are due March 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for newly manufactured commercial aircraft fuel tanks:
- 19 Right Fuel Tanks: NSN 1560-01-166-4906, P/N 70307-23903-104
- 19 Left Fuel Tanks: NSN 1560-01-167-7486, P/N 70307-23903-103
These are Flight Critical Safety Items (CSI) and must meet OEM and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) manuals for form, fit, and function. All parts must be new, airworthy, and approved in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines, requiring FAA 8130 (preferred) or EASA Certification, and a Certificate of Conformance (COC) with clear traceability to the OEM. No alternate parts or deviations from NAVSUP WSS certified specifications will be considered.

Additional Notes
This procurement is justified for other than full and open competition due to the specialized nature of the parts and the USCG's lack of technical data for full competition. NAVSUP WSS holds sole authority for approving sources. Attachments include the Schedule of Supplies, Provisions/Clauses, and a Redacted Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition.
