Scope of Work
This Request for Quotations (RFQ) requires the manufacturing of "NUT, PLAIN, BARREL" according to Naval Sea Systems Command drawings 803-5959302 item 17 and 803-5959311. Key requirements include:
- Manufacturing from QQ-N-286 material with no weld repair allowed.
- Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis of the material.
- Certifications for specific tests, including Ultrasonic Inspection on starting material and tests performed on items made from QQ-N-286 with a diameter of 4 inches or greater.
