Scope of Work
This opportunity requires a husbanding agent to provide comprehensive port services for the NOAA Ship Pisces for approximately 10 days between August 11-29, 2026, within the period of June 1 to September 15, 2026. Services include:
- Vessel Support: Pilotage, compulsory tug services, guaranteed pier space (ISPS certified, specific dimensions), line handlers, customs and immigration support, potable water delivery, bilge water & oil residue removal, medical assistance coordination, sewage offload, garbage services, airport crew pick-ups/drop-offs, linen services, air freight clearance/transfer, and fuel coordination.
- On-site Support: 24/7 pier-side security at the gangway, procurement and delivery of miscellaneous parts and supplies, forklift with licensed operator, shoreside crane with licensed operator and support team.
- Provisions & Transport: Food stores (produce, dairy, frozen, meats, dry goods) and ground transportation (two 10-passenger vans, one 5-passenger sedan with drivers).
- Agent Role: The husbanding agent will act as a single point of contact, ensuring punctuality and coordination of all services. Vendors may propose an alternative suitable logistical port.

- At least three references for similar vessel husbandry/port services performed within the last three years.
- Crucially, per Amendment 0002, provide detailed information for the intended Local Port Agent: company name, physical address, years in business, years operating at port, individual agent's name, years employed as agent, and years performing at port (provide both if time periods differ). Failure to provide this may result in a non-responsive quote.
