The work must comply with current building codes (e.g., NFPA 5000, UPC, UMC, UBC/IBC, NEC, OSHA) and BIE design standards as outlined in the IA Design Handbook for BIE School Facilities. Key deliverables include design documents, weekly reports, manufacturer warranties, and operation/maintenance manuals.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract.
• Set-Aside: 100% Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE). Offerors must meet the definitions of both an Indian Economic Enterprise and an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise.
• Estimated Price Range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
• Period of Performance: 210 calendar days for construction from the Notice to Proceed, following an estimated 60-day design phase and BIE review.
• Place of Performance: Havasupai, Coconino County, Arizona, located within Grand Canyon National Park. Access to the site is limited (helicopter, pack-mule, or hiking).
• Bonds Required: A Bid Bond (20%), Performance Bond (100%), and Payment Bond (100%) are mandatory.
