Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the procurement, installation, and testing of one new Radial Internal Clearance (Radial Play) Measurement Machine, along with all associated parts, tools, and equipment. Key performance requirements for the machine include:
- Bearing Range: Minimum O.D. 6", Maximum O.D. 23"; Minimum I.D. 5", Maximum I.D. 15".
- Accuracy/Uncertainty: 5+0.5L microinches or better.
- Repeatability: 2 microinches or better.
- Resolution: 1 microinch.
- Load Range: 0-30 lbf, with manual or automatic operation. The scope also includes rigging, electrical and mechanical installation, utility connections, factory start-up testing, and on-site operator training. A complete set of technical manuals (operational, calibration, maintenance) is required.
