Purpose

The FBI aims to establish a BPA for one base year and four one-year option periods to ensure the continued operational readiness of its land mobile radio (LMR) legacy equipment. This includes repairs and upgrades to Motorola Solutions, Inc. manufactured equipment used in all 56 FBI field offices.

Scope of Work

The scope involves providing technical services for the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of various Motorola LMR equipment models, including Astro Spectra Plus, XTS, XTL, APX portable and mobile radios, Quantar components (repeaters, power supplies, modules), AstroTac components, and Centracom power supplies. Services must maintain or exceed original conformance with Revised 508 Standards.

Performance Requirements

  • All repairs must include a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
  • Repairs and return of FBI equipment must be completed within 5 business days; otherwise, the contractor must provide operational standby equipment.
  • Vendor must perform calibrations after repair and provide documentation.
  • Monthly and bi-weekly status reports are required.
