Special Requirements
Contractors must provide all new boiler tubes and burner heads. USP Lee will provide staging, ensure boiler shutdown, and provide minimal electricity/restroom services. Contractors are responsible for Lockout/Tagout procedures, securing materials/tools, adhering to BOP's tool inventory program, and wearing provided ID/badges. Security clearances (HSPD 12) are required and must be submitted 30 working days prior to work commencement. Contractors are prohibited from bringing cell phones, cameras, or two-way pagers into the institution. A written 5-year guarantee for material and workmanship, along with manufacturer warranties, is required.
