Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for the relocation of a critical power asset, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) 9, within Building 10271 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The objective is to move PDU 9 from its current location in Room 134 to a new designated location in Room 128A to support evolving data center requirements.

• The certified electrical contractor will provide project management, labor, tools, equipment, and materials (unless government-furnished) for the relocation.

• Work includes decommissioning, moving, reinstalling, and ensuring full operational status of PDU 9.

• Associated subfloor and electrical modifications are included.

• Task 1: Decommission and Prepare Site: Decommission and remove existing PDU 28 and its stand from Room 128A to storage in Room 145. Disconnect power tails from PDU 28.

• Task 2: Relocate PDU 9 and Associated Stand: Move PDU 9 from Room 134 to Room 128A. Remove and reinstall its equipment stand.

• Task 3: Subfloor and Flooring System Restoration: Ensure raised-floor systems are sound and functional at both original and new locations. Modify floor tiles to close openings.

• Task 4: Reinstallation and Power Connectivity: Install new wiring between Room 128A and Room 134. Reconnect power tails to PDU 9.

• Task 5: Labeling and Documentation: Provide documentation mapping power tail locations to breaker locations. Label PDU 8 and PDU 9 with "red" and "blue" labels indicating power sources.

• Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work: Workers and work must meet relevant safety standards and codes.
