Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide expertise, materials, labor, and equipment for the excavation and removal of a failed grease interceptor and the rehabilitation of approximately 135 LF of existing cast iron pipe using Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) technology at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cordova.

• Excavate and remove the existing grease interceptor.

• Install a new polyethylene grease interceptor.

• Rehabilitate approximately 45 LF of 3-inch cast iron pipe, including floor sinks and connecting pipes.

• Rehabilitate approximately 90 LF of 4-inch cast iron pipe from the grease interceptor outlet to the end of the corridor.

• Reinstate 15 connecting branch lines using robotic cutting tools after CIPP liner installation.

• Backfill and reinstall the concrete floor, leaving it approximately 1/4 inch low for future flooring (new tile or flooring not included).

• All work must comply with manufacturer specifications and general industry standards.

• CIPP process requires zero water in the lines; verification is required before starting.

• CCTV inspection of all CIPP installation work for quality control.

• Deliverables include copies of all CCTV inspection records upon completion.

• Location: U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cordova, Mile 13 Copper River Hwy, Cordova, AK 99574.

• Period of Performance: Completed no later than 90 days after notice to proceed is issued. A firm start date will be coordinated with the COR.

• Government facilities and utilities (electrical power, potable water) are available for contractor use if systems are not overloaded.

• Contractor is responsible for work site safety, implementing a safety program, and complying with all safety laws and regulations.

• Contractor and sub-contractors must comply with Coast Guard and local Unit regulations.

• No smoking is permitted in any Coast Guard building.

• Contractor is responsible for cleanup and disposal of all waste.

• All plumbing services must be provided by a qualified, licensed plumber; proof of experience may be requested.

• Any additional materials, parts, or labor not covered require prior written approval and a quote to the Contracting Officer.

• Site visit is recommended to ascertain conditions. Coordinate access through AMTC Joshua Stewart (Joshua.d.stewart@uscg.mil) and submit requests through the KO.
