• Removal of existing windows.

• Utilities: Electricity, potable water, and restroom facilities will be provided without charge. Contractor is responsible for all costs related to connecting, converting, and transferring utilities.

• Laydown Area: An uncovered lay-down area will be provided; contractor is responsible for its restoration and any damage incurred.

• Storm Protection: Contractor must take precautions to minimize danger during extreme weather.

• Environmental Protection: Adherence to all Federal, State, and local laws regarding demolition and debris disposal is required.

• Delivery & Storage: Materials must be handled, stored, and protected according to manufacturer recommendations. Contractor is responsible for security of all materials and equipment.

• Cleanup: Contractor is responsible for daily cleanup of the work area and proper disposal of waste, not using Coast Guard facilities.

• Utility Outages: A minimum of two (2) working days' notice is required for any utility interruption, with POC authorization needed.

• Security: A list of working personnel must be provided and approved. All personnel must carry proper, laminated identification.

• Safety: Contractor is wholly responsible for work site safety, implementing a safety program, and complying with EM 385-1-1 and FAR 52.236-13. A written safety plan must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of award, detailing provisions for hazards like elevated working surfaces or working over water. This plan requires approval before work commences.
