This amendment (0001) to solicitation 140G0326Q0074 provides additional information and clarifies requirements.

• Tribal Coordination and Site Access: Clarifies that work will be on White Mountain Apache Tribe lands, no demolition permit is required, daily worker passes are not needed, and the contractor must coordinate site access in advance. The contractor will be escorted at all times by a Tribal representative and a USGS representative during site access, work, and cleanup. Points of contact will be provided upon award.

• Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) Requirements: Confirms TERO requirements apply, and the contractor is responsible for complying with all applicable TERO requirements of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Direct coordination with the Tribal TERO office is required for all requirements, fees, reporting, and workforce provisions. TERO Point of Contact information is provided.

• Labor Standards: Confirms the requirement is not subject to the Davis-Bacon Act, but Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) apply. Wage Determination 2015-577 (Rev. 12/03/2025) remains applicable.

• Additional Material Removal Carrizo Creek Site: Identifies an additional cable segment (approx. 4 feet) at the Carrizo Creek site requiring removal and disposal. Offerors must provide a separately priced option for this work, including all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal. The Government may exercise this option at its sole discretion at time of award or during performance. The contractor shall not perform this work unless exercised in writing.

• New Option Item (00030): A new option line item has been added for the removal and disposal of the additional cable segment at Carrizo Creek site. Anticipated exercise date is 30 days after award. Product/Service Code: Z1PZ. Description: MAINTENANCE OF OTHER NON-BUILDING FACILITIES.

• The period of performance is specified as 05/04/2026 to 08/04/2026.

• Offerors must provide a separately priced option for the additional cable removal and disposal.

• All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services to dismantle and remove two discontinued cableway structures and associated components at two separate field locations. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Arizona Water Science Center, requires these services.

• Dismantle and remove cableway structures, cables, saddle blocks, U-bars, A-frames, and all associated equipment.

• Haul away all debris, including cable and connecting equipment.

• Cut off U-bars at the concrete surface.

• Work is solely for dismantling and removal; it does not include construction, alteration, or repair.

• Return the area to as close to natural as possible.

• Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA.

• Contract Type: Not specified, but implies a firm-fixed-price award.

• Period of Performance: 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). Estimated period is 05/04/2026 to 08/04/2026.
