Scope of Work
The contractor will furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision. Key tasks include:
- Demolition and proper disposal of the existing 300-gallon hot water heater and associated components.
- Installation of a new high-efficiency hot water heating system in Lodging Building 300, designed to meet or exceed a 1,000,000 BTU/Hr first-hour rating, 300-gallon storage capacity, and 970 Gal/Hr recovery capacity.
- Installation of a second hot water tank in-line with the heating system, sized to utilize space without obstructing existing equipment.
- Provision and installation of all necessary ancillary components, such as valves, piping, venting, insulation, electrical components, concrete pads, expansion tank, and circulation pump.
- Minimizing facility downtime and hot water use for occupants during replacement.
