Repair cracks and spalls on concrete walls, beams, columns, roof, floor slab, and eaves. Repair to install concrete jackets to columns along gridlines. Repair to restore integrity of steel members that deteriorated due to corrosion, and replace steel members where material loss exceed 10% of the original thickness. Apply Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) to canopy beams. Demolish existing ceiling tiles and install new tiles. Remove and reinstall electrical and other fixes to facilitate repair works as needed. Paint areas that are subjected to repair work and restore original appearance. Demolish and dispose waste material as appropriate. Abate and dispose Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) and Lead-Based Paint (LBP). Sustainable principles, to include life cycle cost-effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project in accordance with UFC 1-200-02. Construction activities may commence after the approval of the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) and AF Form 103 (work clearance). The Contractor shall coordinate on-site safety requirements through the 718th Civil Engineer Squadron (718 CES).
