Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is seeking quotations for the repair of Enhanced Digital Engine Control Units (EDECUs) for MH-60T aircraft. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) with an anticipated firm-fixed price purchase order award. The requirement is for unrestricted competition, though a sole-source award to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is anticipated. Quotations are due by March 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide repair services for three (3) EDECUs (NSN 2995-01-680-3143, P/N 116007-05C5-17). These components are used on MH-60T aircraft and are subject to corrosion from saltwater environments. Repairs must restore components to an airworthy condition, adhering to OEM functional performance specifications, procedures, and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs). Services include teardown, test, evaluation, and repair, with specific pricing for "No Fault Found" (NFF) and "Beyond Economical Repair" (BER) scenarios. Corrosion removal and treatment must comply with OEM specifications and FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 43-4B. Contractors must maintain OEM certification for modifications and provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) and Component Repair Record (CRR) for each unit. A quality system compliant with ISO 9001-2000 or equivalent is required.
