Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Visual and technical inspection for corrosion and other deficiencies, with repair or replacement as necessary.

• Components must meet minimum acceptable standards of performance to define an operationally effective system.

• Repairs must be accomplished IAW applicable technical directives and meet performance/test/acceptance criteria.

• All repaired components must be certified as airworthy and suitable for installation.

• Period of performance and required delivery dates will be provided in the order.

• Primary place of performance will be the Contractor's facilities or other USCG approved location.

• Contractor must be a FAA Repair Facility, OEM Certified Repair Facility, OEM Certified Distributor, or DoD Certified Repair Facility.

• Specific documentation and certification requirements apply for FAA, OEM, and DoD/USCG certified facilities, including submission of repair station certificates, OEM documentation, or approval memos.

• Contractor must maintain a Quality Assurance System.

• Access to the most current editions of all applicable technical directives and manuals is required.

• Environmental requirements mandate thorough cleaning to remove hazardous dust (hexavalent chromium, cadmium, lead).

• Specific procedures for handling "Unusual Damage," "Cannibalized Components," and "Beyond Economical Repair" (BER) are outlined.

• Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR) and Airworthiness Certification (e.g., FAA 8130) are required for repaired components.
