Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is seeking quotations for the repair of Searchlight Control components used on H-60 aircraft. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ), issued as an unrestricted requirement, with an anticipated firm-fixed price purchase order award. While a sole source justification points to Grimes Aerospace Company (the OEM), other OEM-authorized repair facilities are invited to submit offers. Quotations are due by March 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.
Scope of Work
The contractor will perform test and evaluation, and repair non-Ready For Issue (RFI) Searchlight Control components to RFI condition, adhering to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) functional performance specifications. This includes inspection, correction of deficiencies, disassembly, corrosion inspection, and replacement of parts with OEM traceability. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary repair specifications, test/acceptance criteria, and OEM Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs). All repairs must be airworthy and include a Certificate of Airworthiness and a Certificate of Conformance (COC) in accordance with FAR 52.246-15. A quality system compliant with ISO 9001-2000 or equivalent is required.
