- Flashing and Edge Metal: Metal drip edge must be minimum 26-gauge steel, extending ½” below sheathing and 2’ back on the roof deck. All other flashing must be new. Fastening patterns and wind resistance should adhere to the FORTIFIED Hurricane 2025 standard.
