Additional work includes installing rip rap at the discharge point, repairing damaged pavement markings, and cleaning out the existing outfall to restore flow.
Special requirements include measuring and recording inverts/elevations before demolition, disposing of all demolition debris off-base, protecting adjacent infrastructure, and implementing sheeting, shoring, and dewatering measures. The contractor is responsible for locating and protecting all underground utilities, including telecommunications and commercial cabling, and for submitting a traffic control plan 21 days prior to work commencement, ensuring two-way traffic is maintained on Holcomb Blvd. Handling of any encountered Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) must follow specified procedures.
