Scope of Work
The primary objective is to replace the existing 135kW 169 kVA 277/480v Three-Phase Diesel Genset and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) at lift station 840 in the Marin Headlands. Key tasks include:
- Removal and proper disposal of the existing Kohler generator and ATS.
- Furnishing and installing a new genset and ATS that match the performance standards of the existing equipment.
- Completing all electrical, controls, gas, and mechanical exhaust connections.
- Testing the operation of all new equipment.
- Ensuring the new generator complies with California Air Resource Board (CARB) and Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) rules and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits.
- Providing a temporary backup generator if the primary backup is offline overnight or until the new generator's BAAQMD permit is active.
