Scope of Work

"Brand name or equal" products are acceptable, but proposals for equal products must include full product information and specifications to be considered responsive. The scope is limited to equipment only, with a requirement for the contractor to be responsible for all internal and external maintenance of the new equipment for a minimum of five (5) years from substantial completion, including costs for materials, equipment, and labor for repairs or replacements. The contractor is also responsible for the legal disposal of all demolished equipment and debris.

Evaluation

Submission Requirements & Special Notes
Quotes MUST be submitted via e-mail ONLY to zbowers@bop.gov. Faxed, mailed, or other physical submissions will not be considered. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) with an active status; failure to do so will result in bids not being considered. Payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Special requirements include a minimum five (5) year warranty on labor and materials, compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NEC codes, and the provision of a full-time Project Manager with at least three years of experience. Deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
