Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought for F-15EX Engine Fuel Hydraulic Display Depot Activation Capabilities. This RFI aims to gather industry input for acquisition planning to develop a Long-Term Support Strategy for F-15EX Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and their subcomponents, focusing on improving supply chain efficiencies and material availability. Purpose & Scope

This RFI is for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The effort will support Air Logistics Complexes (ALCs) by identifying requirements and facilitating the design, build, or purchase of Specialized Test Equipment (STE), Test Program Sets (TPS), and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs). A primary focus is on the Heads Up Display Control Panel (HUDCP) repair and maintenance, including associated parts, spares, and technical data rights for software.

Information Sought

The USAF is interested in industry solutions for:

  • Efficient organic repair of Depot Activation components.
  • Addressing Technical Data (TD), data rights, and Intellectual Property (IP) issues.
  • Cost, schedule, and performance details for Depot Activation components.
  • Most efficient contracting solutions and current contractor experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).
