• Technical Data Package (TDP): The DAS 2.1 or 3.0 TDPs will not be provided. However, the DAS 2.1 ICD and top-level drawing, and the DAS 3.0 Pallet Control Module (PCM) ICD are available upon request.
• Multiple Solutions: If a vendor has multiple solutions that fit within the 10-page RFI limit, a single white paper should be submitted.
• DAS 2.1 Specifications: Specific pallet specifications (length, width, height, weight, target COB), rack dimensions, power, and interface locations for the DAS 2.1 will be provided upon request.
• Industry Day Invitation: Submission of a white paper is required to be eligible for an invitation to Industry Day. Not all white paper submissions will qualify; only those whose solutions meet the requirement will be invited.

This RFI seeks market research to identify potential sources capable of designing, developing, and manufacturing an adaptable and affordable Family of Affordable Mass Missiles (FAMM-BAR). The goal is to gather information on industry's ability to perform these tasks affordably and expeditiously for the U.S. Air Force and Foreign Military Sales.

• Objective: Develop a single, common, air-to-surface munition that is affordable, adaptable, and has significant standoff range.

• Deployment Methods: Primary via Palletized (cargo aircraft); secondary via Lugged (fighter/additional aircraft).

• Service Adaptability: Information requested on delivery from air-to-surface and surface-to-surface for Army and Navy systems (for information gathering only).

• Performance Attributes:

  • Range: ≥ 1000 NM
  • Speed: ≥ .7 M
  • Target Set: Slow moving maritime
  • Mid-course navigation: Yes
