Scope of Work

NSWC Crane seeks information from businesses with the capability and facilities to:

  • Obtain individual hardware items.
  • Inspect hardware to meet Government requirements.
  • Assemble individual parts into system repair kits.
  • Pass stringent quality requirements to suppliers.
  • Warehouse and manage inventory.
  • Deliver parts/materials for radar and fire control system overhauls.

The DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) details requirements for a Contractor-owned and operated facility, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) resolution, Part/Material Failure Trend Tracking, and Obsolescence Management. Parts must adhere to system configuration baselines and EIA-649-1. Packaging must meet industry best practices and MIL-STD-130N. Urgent deliveries are required within 3 hours, others within 24 hours. Contractors must maintain an ISO 9001-2015 compliant quality program or equivalent, implement counterfeit parts mitigation, and manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Information (GFI).
