Scope of Work
This RFI seeks information on capabilities across various critical areas for the AGT 1500 Engine Program, including:
- Demand Planning: Forecasting and inventory management.
- Hardware Procurement: Sourcing raw materials and components for engine overhaul, reset, and field demands.
- Repair: Repairing AGT 1500 engine components beyond Anniston Army Depot (ANAD)'s capabilities.
- Program Management & Integration: Project engineering, systems engineering, logistics, quality, cost/schedule planning, and configuration management for the AGT 1500 Engine and its Digital Electronic Control Unit (DECU).
- Data Management: Utilizing the Government’s Windchill PDMLink System.
- Field Service Support: Providing Field Service Engineers (FSEs) for data collection, training, troubleshooting, and repairs (depot level) in CONUS and OCONUS.
- Production Support: Overhaul support at ANAD, material management, supply chain management, data analysis, obsolescence management, and electronic maintenance work instructions.
- System Technical Support (STS): Engineering and technical support for the AGT 1500 Engine and Abrams Family of Vehicles (FoV), including testing and refurbishment.

Submission Details
Companies are encouraged to respond to all or part of the RFI. Key deliverables include a General Info and Services Questionnaire and the AGT 1500 Engine Program Parts List, where suppliers indicate their capability to produce listed parts. Drawings for parts are available upon submission of an approved DD 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement; requests for drawings must be received within 10 calendar days of the RFI posting. All questions must be submitted in writing via email by 4:00 PM EST within 7 business days of posting. Submissions must be made electronically via the DoD SAFE Access and File Exchange (SAFE) website; a Drop-off code must be requested via email.
