The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, material, design, and supervision to deliver approximately 8,001 tons of hot mix asphalt (HMA) and 8,072 gallons of Bituminous Tack and Prime Coats. Deliveries are specifically for Taxiway Hotel, a Type A traffic area supporting C-17 Operations. Key requirements include:

  • HMA: 8,001 tons of HMA Intermediate Course, Type B with PG 67-22 binder. Must be a minimum of 290 degrees Fahrenheit at delivery, with a minimum production of 500 tons per 8-hour workday and a maximum 30-minute interval between delivery trucks.
  • Bituminous Coats: 1,960 gallons of Tack Coat and 6,200 gallons of Prime Coat, both Grade SS-1.
  • Quality Control: Provide field and laboratory quality control testing, including core testing for JMF deviations.
